As an experienced Realtor with Century 21 Arizona Foothills, I bring a strong background of the trades to the table. I was in the electrical trades for 25+ years. I have done extensive plumbing and carpentry as well. I mention this because it has given me the knowledge to walk through a home and point out the positives and negatives of the home's various systems. This has helped my buyers to see past the simple repairs found at inspections, as well as give them some insight as to what it will take to fix some of the more serious issues. As for my sellers, my experience has given me the ability to help them get their house in "Sale Ready" condition. I always have my client's back through the entire transaction, from showing to closing. If I don't know an answer to one of your questions, I will get the answer. Jim pointed out to us and addressed all of the findings to the seller and got all findings satisfactory taken care of. Jim is a great and naturally down to earth person with a wealth of experience, patience and caring. There is a Stairlift installed in the home, we had no idea if it was operational or how to operate the Stairlift. Jim told us that he can arrange to get it remove, my wife said to leave it and Jim figured out how to operate the Stairlift and then trained us on the operation. I will most certainly call on Jim Balko should the need for buying or selling arise in the future, and I would certainly reccommend Jim Balko in a heartbeat.

Jim has over 20 years of experience in various careers in house building and he uses that wealth of knowledge to be an excellent agent. His understanding of the technical aspects of roofing, plumbing, electricity etc. is a huge plus. While looking at houses he was very honest and told me the benefits and drawbacks of each house as well as the repairs and additions that could be made. In addition, Jim has a team of individuals that he works with regularly who are also very professional, this makes the escrow period seamless. After the inspection, Jim and I looked at every area mentioned in the report and went over how to fix it. Jim is also a tough negotiator; he has strong business ethics and ensures that you are buying the house at a fair value in addition receiving credits from the seller. Being a first-time home buyer, I was very anxious, however working with Jim I knew that he truly had my best interest at heart. I trusted his guidance and this made the process pleasant and stress free. Jim is an excellent relator and as someone who plans on investing in real estate in the future, I look forward to working with Jim again.
